On short notice Pax and I decided to make a quick run up to Sam Houston National Forest to spend the day with some friends who were camping.
We had a fun day hiking, picking and eating a few fresh dewberries, cooking on the campfire, and just hanging out at the camp.
The highlight of our hike was when found a long fallen tree and had lots of fun balancing on it while walking.
