We got invited to a neighbors pool party on Saturday and the kids spent most of the day swimming. This is the first time Paxton got to use his new floaty vest thingy and he really had fun with it. At first he was cautious but before long he was all over the pool all by himself.

He is going to have lots of fun swimming this summer!

Paxton helped pick out his new swim trunks and rash guard shirt. He liked the ones with the skull and crossbones. He is so ready to go swimming at the pool.

This was Paxton's first time to the pig races. He really enjoyed the pig races but his favorite part was Swifty the swimming pig.

Also included are a few pics from our day at the Houston Livestock Show. The kids really liked the fried Oreos and fried Snickers bar. We wanted to try the fried Red Velvet cake but couldn't find it. Oh well there is always next time.

 

Paxton also really wanted to ride a pony. We stood in line and he was really excited but then when he got on the pony he seemed nervous. But he wan't nervous when it came to riding the rides at the Kids Carnival.  He wanted to ride every ride!

We took the kids to Houston Livestock Show this week and it turned out to be a perfect day and the crowds were very light.

We spent time exploring the inside area and had a lot of fun in the petting zoo. Highlights were the llamas and the little kangaroos. Paxton really liked feeding the llamas.
